The Munster Mustangs achieved a 61–52 victory over Hammond Morton in a non-conference basketball game.
The event was held on December 6 at Munster High School. The Mustangs led by a narrow margin of 28–27 at halftime before extending their lead in the second half. They outscored the Governors 22–10 in the fourth quarter, demonstrating strong performance on both offense and defense to secure the win. The team’s balanced scoring and effective execution in the final moments were pivotal, as they managed to score crucial points while maintaining defensive pressure to limit Morton’s opportunities during critical phases of the game.
According to the schedule, Munster will next face Crown Point on December 19 at 7 p.m. In their previous encounter, Munster hosted Crown Point on December 20 last season but lost with a score of 77–34.
