Munster opened its girls’ varsity basketball season with a 40–22 home win over Michigan City on Tuesday, November 11.
According to the game report, the Mustangs displayed sharp performance on both ends of the floor, establishing an early lead and maintaining control throughout the contest. Munster’s defense effectively limited Michigan City’s scoring opportunities, while balanced offense and ball movement kept the pace steady. Senior guard Ella Neiers led the team with 16 points, followed by sophomore forward Ava Pappas with 12. Michigan City’s top performer was Janiyah Moore, who finished with 14 points.
Michigan City is scheduled to travel to face The Tri-Township on Thursday, November 13.
