Munster girls’ soccer team secured a 3-0 victory over Hanover Central in a Northwest Crossroads Conference matchup on Tuesday, September 30. The Mustangs displayed a steady performance on both ends of the field.
Munster opened the scoring in the first half and maintained their momentum into the second half, adding two more goals to clinch the road win. Consistent ball movement and balanced play were key factors that allowed Munster to control much of the match.
Hanover Central fought throughout the game, with junior goalkeeper Layla Nestor recording five saves. Her efforts in goal, along with a determined defensive line, kept the Wildcats competitive for much of the contest. Despite trailing, Hanover Central continued to push forward late in the game, generating possession and attempting to penetrate Munster’s defense.
