The Munster Mustangs faced a challenging home non-conference basketball game on Friday, resulting in a 60–15 defeat against the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves.
According to reports, the non-conference matchup occurred on December 19 at Munster High School. Thornton Fractional South maintained control throughout the game, limiting Munster to just 15 points while establishing a significant lead. Arroya Mongerie led the Red Wolves with a team-best scoring average entering the game. Meanwhile, Igboamaka Odeluga was noted for pacing the Mustangs on the boards as they struggled offensively during the contest.
Looking ahead, Munster is set to participate in the TL Holiday Tournament, facing Twin Lakes in a neutral-site matchup on Monday, December 29. The last encounter between Munster and Twin Lakes saw the Mustangs secure a 59–36 victory in a neutral-site tournament on December 27, 2024.
