Head coach Romison St-Louis says Munster’s goal is to compete every week, regardless of the opponent.
“Every game on our schedule we can win or lose,” St-Louis said. “It doesn’t matter if historically a team has been good or bad. We have to prepare to make it a win.”
St-Louis said Indiana’s playoff format changes how he prepares. “In Illinois, you had to win a certain number of games to make the playoffs,” he said. “Here, everyone makes it. So our goal is to be playing our best football at the end.”
He said the staff prepares far in advance. “We’ll install things now that we might not use for eight weeks,” St-Louis said. “When the time comes, we’ll be ready.”
Schassburger said the offense is adopting that mindset. “We take it one play at a time,” he said. “That’s how we’ll stay consistent.”
Richards said the defense is built the same way. “We’re ready for whoever we face,” he said. “We know they’ll give us their best, and we have to do the same.”
