Munster High School’s girls basketball team suffered a 60–15 defeat in a non-conference game against Thornton Fractional South. The match took place on December 19 at Munster High School in Munster, Indiana.
According to the game report, Thornton Fractional South established control early and maintained their lead throughout the contest. They limited Munster’s scoring opportunities while applying consistent defensive pressure. Despite competing across all four quarters, Munster struggled to generate sustained offense against the visitors’ pace and physicality.
Offensively, I. Jarrett led Munster with five points, while I. Odeluga added four points on efficient shooting. Kenley Smith, Elena Dovellos, and Arroya Mongerie each contributed two points. Dovellos and Smith also worked to create scoring chances from the perimeter. Munster finished with seven made field goals and continued to battle through defensive possessions as multiple players rotated into the lineup.
Munster is scheduled to return to action on January 9 when it hosts Hammond Morton for a 7 p.m. matchup.
