The Munster girls basketball team enters the 2025–26 season with determination, aiming to quickly recover from an early non-conference defeat and build a competitive squad.
Following a productive offseason, the Mustangs opened their 2025–26 campaign with a close 39–36 home loss to Merrillville on November 8, showing competitive spirit despite the defeat. According to team sources, Munster continues its early-season non-conference slate with a mix of home and road games, including matchups against Michigan City, Chesterton, Andrean, and Lake Central.
Conference matchups will test Munster against familiar league opponents such as Hobart, Lowell, and Kankakee Valley. These games provide opportunities for the team to develop chemistry and consistency. With key contributors I. Jarrett, Arroya Mongerie, and I. Odeluga leading the way on the court, the Mustangs aim to combine strong defense, disciplined offense, and team chemistry to improve execution and compete at a higher level as the season progresses.
