The Munster girls wrestling team commenced its 2025–26 season with decisive victories over Lake Central and Illiana Christian, setting a strong tone for the year.

The matches were held on Tuesday, November 11, at Illiana Christian High School in Dyer, Indiana. The Mustangs achieved a 72–12 win against Lake Central and followed with a 54–30 victory over the host Vikings.

Coach Estevan Marks helped lead the charge for Munster’s girls wrestling. This lineup demonstrated depth and discipline across weight classes, securing multiple pins and decisive point wins in both duals. Returning leaders guided the balanced roster featuring several new contributors stepping into varsity roles. The strong debut reflected the program’s ongoing growth and commitment to technical consistency and pressure offense.

Munster is scheduled to host the Munster Duals on Saturday, November 22, starting at 9:00 a.m. inside the MHS Fieldhouse.
