The girls secured first place at the NCC Championships last weekend at Kankakee Valley, with eight runners finishing in the top 20. This achievement highlights the program’s depth and discipline.

Leading the team’s performance were Elora Bliss, who finished third, Lekha Patel in fourth, Sophia Puliaeva in eighth, Olivia Ahn in ninth, and Ellis Choi in tenth place. All these athletes earned First Team All-Conference honors. Riley Sechowski secured Second Team honors with a thirteenth-place finish, while Beatrissa Pitcher and Giana Bartuskiak completed the team’s notable performance with sixteenth and twentieth places respectively, earning Honorable Mentions.

As they move into the postseason, Munster’s runners are reported to be focused and motivated. With strong leadership and a team-first mentality, they aim to make a significant impact in this year’s tournament and build on their impressive season so far.
