Munster girls wrestling preparing for competitive tournament stretch

0Comments

Munster girls wrestling continues its 2025–26 campaign under Head Coach Zachary Slosser, entering a crucial stretch of early-season tournaments designed to test the team’s depth and endurance.

According to the schedule, the Mustangs will compete in the Rolland Beckham Fall Brawl on Saturday, November 22, beginning at 9:00 a.m. CST at Calumet New Tech High School. The tournament will feature several top programs from across Northwest Indiana, offering Munster’s wrestlers valuable experience against varied styles and weight classes.

The Mustangs must take an approach focusing on aggressiveness, counterattacks, and positioning to have a successful season. The Mustangs aim to capitalize on scoring opportunities while maintaining composure in high-pressure bouts. The event also provides younger wrestlers with a chance to gain meaningful match exposure early in the season.

Following a short break for Thanksgiving week, Munster will return to action for the RedHawk Super Duals on Friday, November 28, beginning at 9:00 a.m. CST in Goshen.
