The Munster Mustangs boys’ soccer team concluded the 2025 season with a 9-8-2 overall record, securing second place in the Northwest Crossroads Conference with a 5-1 record.

The Mustangs began their season with a 6-2 victory over Hobart. They then faced challenging non-conference opponents such as Penn, Chesterton, and Lake Central. Despite initial fluctuations in performance, Munster found consistency during conference play, achieving significant wins against Kankakee Valley, Andrean, Highland, and Hanover Central.

The team’s balanced offense and organized defense were key factors in maintaining competitiveness throughout the fall. Noteworthy away victories against Portage and Merrillville highlighted their ability to manage game tempo and secure close matches.

Munster’s tournament journey concluded at the Class 3A sectional at Lake Central, where they were defeated 6-0 by the host Indians. Nonetheless, the team’s resilience and growth through a challenging schedule demonstrated their capability to compete against top-tier programs while maintaining focus and discipline.

With both goals scored and allowed totaling 37 each, the Mustangs’ season was characterized by balance, effort, and steady improvement. The program continues to develop under a competitive mindset that positions them well for the 2026 season.
