Munster girls’ soccer team delivered a commanding performance Tuesday night, securing a 9-0 victory over Andrean in a conference matchup.
The Mustangs’ unbeaten streak in league play to 4-0 and improved their overall record to 5-2-2. Munster’s attack was relentless from the outset, with goals spread across multiple contributors. Maya Maldonado, Olivia Witting, Lucinda Lagunas, and Emi Tioco each found the back of the net, highlighting the team’s balanced scoring.
The Mustangs also displayed unselfish playmaking, with assists coming from Ashley Kim, Temi Olulode, Kaleigh-Ann Parker, Haley Ursino, Maldonado, and Tioco. Their ability to create opportunities through quick ball movement kept Andrean on its heels throughout the match.
Defensively, Munster maintained its shape and allowed few chances, recording a clean sheet while controlling possession.
