The Munster boys’ tennis team experienced a challenging postseason, maintaining their Sectional Championship streak but ultimately falling short in the Regional round. The final match took place on Friday, October 17, at Munster High School, concluding their 2025 campaign.

According to head coach John Morris, the team learned resilience after “nearly losing the Sectional Championship streak” and “falling apart with a lead to win the Boys Regional.” He said that this experience will influence their future approach.

He praised captain Jack Morton’s leadership, noting that Morton “kept the team tightly together,” emphasizing the hard work and energy needed for success.Volunteer coach Steve Grim was acknowledged for his significant contributions both on and off the court. Morris mentioned Grim’s involvement in driving to matches, organizing practices, and even clearing weeds as examples of his commitment.

He concluded by expressing gratitude for Grim’s contributions: “Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. The 2025 boys’ team hit the jackpot with Mr. Grim.”
