Munster High School’s boys soccer team enters the 2025 season with renewed purpose under veteran head coach Jim Prasopoulos, who continues to emphasize discipline, tactical execution and team unity.
Summer training sessions focused heavily on high-pressure defensive pressing, precise ball distribution through the midfield, and finishing drills designed to capitalize on scoring chances inside the box. “We want to control tempo and take advantage of every opportunity,” Prasopoulos said.
The roster blends seasoned defenders capable of anchoring the back line with emerging attackers eager to make an impact. That mix of experience and new energy has fueled competitive scrimmages, sharpening internal competition for starting roles.
The Mustangs open with several non-conference tests intended to measure early-season chemistry before shifting into the rigors of league play. Key matchups against region rivals will provide early indicators of postseason potential.
With improved depth, clearer tactical identity and growing leadership in the locker room, Munster is setting its sights on re-establishing itself among the area’s top programs.
For the Mustangs, the 2025 campaign is about more than wins — it’s about building a foundation of consistency and resilience that can carry into future seasons.
