The Munster Mustangs girls volleyball team enters the 2025 season with renewed focus under head coach Michelle Masny, who returns to lead the program with an emphasis on skill development, team chemistry and competitive consistency.
Masny guided the Mustangs through a summer schedule of camps, conditioning sessions and skill-specific workouts. Practices prioritized balanced play — sharpening both offensive execution and defensive coverage — while fostering communication across all positions. “We want to play smart, fast and connected,” Masny said, underscoring her commitment to creating a cohesive unit on the court.
Preseason scrimmages in early August will help finalize rotations and test combinations before the grind of conference play begins. Returning varsity players bring leadership and familiarity with the system, while younger athletes are pushing for meaningful court time through strong summer performances.
With a competitive schedule ahead, including key non-conference matchups designed to challenge depth and adaptability, the Mustangs are aiming for a strong start that builds toward postseason contention.
Backed by Masny’s steady leadership, a motivated roster and a clear identity, Munster’s 2025 campaign promises an aggressive and disciplined approach — one the program hopes will translate into sustained success in the weeks ahead.
