Munster High School’s volleyball team secured a decisive 3–0 victory over Highland in a conference match on Thursday night. The game, held at Highland High School in Highland, Indiana, saw Munster dominate the court with scores of 25–21, 25–12, and 25–19.
According to the match report from October 9, 2025, the Mustangs maintained control throughout the game with consistent serving and a balanced offensive strategy. Sophomores Alex Rucinski and Rachel Keefner led the team’s attack, each recording eight kills. Freshman M. O’Connor contributed significantly to the defense with two aces and 11 digs. Junior Taylor Pumphrey orchestrated the offense with 19 assists, while junior Elia Moore added stability in serve receive play along with six digs. Munster concluded the match with a total of 35 team kills and 43 digs, highlighting their efficiency and depth.
Despite their defeat, Highland demonstrated resilience by keeping both the opening and final sets competitive through strong defensive rallies and several late runs that engaged spectators.
