Head coach Romison St-Louis says progress at Munster will be measured in small but steady increments.
“One of the things I’m putting in our locker room is a one-percent chart,” St-Louis said. “I don’t want our players focused on the end result. I want them focused on getting one percent better every day.”
He said success comes in stages. “Programs I’ve taken over, we’ve gone from struggling to competing, then to winning,” St-Louis said. “At Munster, we’re in that process now. It’s about getting better each day, not just looking at the final score.”
Schassburger said that mindset has carried into his preparation. “We take it one step at a time,” he said. “If a play doesn’t go well, we don’t dwell on it. We reset and focus on making the next one better.”
Richards said leadership is also part of that incremental improvement. “I had a role last year, but now as a junior I feel I need to step up even more,” he said. “I want to lead by example and make sure everyone understands our values.”
